The Arduino Experiment (ARDX)

This was a project to develop a set of projects for newer experimenters, which would walk them through using plug breadboards, wiring up simple circuits, uploading sketches, and tips for troubleshooting. When the learner has finished ALL of the exercises, they have a basic understanding of using many electronic parts, many interesting aspects of C++ code functions, and is much more likely to look at some task and think "I bet I could do this with an Arduino!".

The ARDX project started in England, and the group behind the project built kits to help fund the project. By buying the kit, you got an Arduino UNO, a small breadboard, some wires, and all the parts to build all of the projects. Since shipping was costly from the UK, a few other companies (Adafruit, Sparkfun, et. al.) have put together their own versions, and they can ship them in the US and they give back to the ARDX community. If you don't already have an Arduino to hack with at home, please give this project a look.
